“I’m better at singing than playing instruments. I get very frustrated with myself because my hands don’t know how to do what my voice would like to sing with. So for this album, I thought I would collaborate. This way, I can leave the music to those who are good at it and I can do my favorite part which is to write melodies and lyrics and sing. I did manage to write two songs for the album on my own (The Dark and One In The Morning), but if I had to write all of the music, it could have been another five years… plus, I really love collaborating and I love what each of these guys brought to the table. It’s a way I love working and hope to continue like this.
